The parliament buildings of Victoria are conveniently located next to the inner harbour. Construction started in 1893 and the main building was finished in 1897. Combining several architectural styles it was heralded as a notable monument and today the building is as impressive as ever. Free guided tours of the building are available throughout the year but if you’re feeling lazy, just lay in the grass and snap some selfies.
