How extended stay works
- Choose Your Suite
Select an available suite for the months you wish to stay that matches your needs and style. If you're in Victoria, you can schedule a viewing by filling out this form. - Sign the Guest Agreement
Read and sign our guest agreement. If you're unable to visit in person, no problem—we can email it to you. - Pay the Deposit
To secure your suite, pay a deposit equal to half a month’s rent. Your suite will be reserved once we’ve received both the signed guest agreement and payment. - Move-In Day
On your move-in day, use the code we'll email you before your arrival to access your suite. - Security Deposit Refund
Your security deposit refund will be available for pickup or mailed as a cheque three business days after your move-out date.

How to book a monthly stay
Frequently asked questions
To secure the suite, a signed guest agreement and a 50% security deposit are required upfront. Monthly rent is due by the 1st of each month by 4:00 PM. If you are inquiring remotely, we can provide a PayPal link for the deposit payment. Note there is a fee of 3.75% for this.
Guests are charged for hydro based on meter readings taken during their stay. You will be notified once the readings are completed. Payments can be made in person at our main location at 791 Pandora Ave or via PayPal (with an additional 3.75% fee) and are due alongside rent for the following month. If it is your final month, you also have the option to have hydro costs deducted from your damage deposit.
Yes, Ocean Island provides cleaning services upon request, subject to availability. To arrange this, please submit your request in advance. The service is priced at $30 per hour, with a minimum charge of $60.
Our suites are pet-friendly, with the following charges:
- $11 per day
- $42.50 per week
- $125 per month
Certified assistance dogs are exempt from these fees. If damages exceed the amount covered by the pet fee, any additional costs may be deducted from your damage deposit.
